Types of Braces

Metal Braces

Metal braces are the most common type. They are made of high-grade stainless steel. Today's metal braces are smaller, more comfortable and more attractive.

Clear Braces

Clear braces are made of translucent (clear) material. They are most popular with adult patients due to their cosmetic appeal. The only drawbacks to clear brackets are that they are more fragile, and the elastic ties can discolor between orthodontic visits.

Gold Braces

Gold braces are stainless steel braces coated with 24-karat gold and are popular with patients of all ages.

Invisalign®

The Invisalign system is a series of clear overlay templates called aligners that have been generated by computer simulation to gradually move the teeth. This system is available to adult patients with certain orthodontic bite problems. Ask us if you are a candidate for the Invisalign system.

Invisalign® Teen

Invisalign Teen is the ideal solution for teenagers wanting to perfect their smile with confidence. This system uses a series of clear removable aligners with a Blue Dot Wear Indicator crafted into them so your teen knows how often to change them. Patients can still eat and drink what they want and brush and floss normally. This revolutionary system is designed specifically for teenagers and their busy lifestyles.

ClearCorrect™

ClearCorrect™ invisible braces is the clear, simple way to straighten your teeth without using traditional metal braces. The ClearCorrect aligners are custom-made with computer precision, are removable and are clear, meaning you can straighten your teeth without anyone knowing.
